Scenic Explorer Tours

Our scenic explorer tours are designed for guests who want to see as much of the country as they can in the limited time they have available. They are suitable for guests with limited mobility but we will still get the chance to explore and discover some of Scotland’s most magnificent scenic locations. As well as the scenic locations we will still be able to explore Scotland’s coulourful history and discover some of it’s real secrets.

Scenic Explorer Tour Summary

  • Glorious Scotland: A scenic tour of west central Scotland that will take you through some beautiful towns and villages. We will have plenty of opportunity to take in the incredible Mountains and Lochs on our journey and step into the past to visit a castle or a historic jail. You will also be able to pick up some Scottish souvenirs from the many stops on this trip.

  • Scotland in TV and Film: Scotland has hosted a feast of fantastic films and TV series over the years including Braveheart, the Outlaw King, Mary Queen of Scot’s and Outlander. This tour will take us to the filming locations and to the famous battle sites featured in these movies.

  • The Outlander Experience: Outlander has been a very successful TV series telling the story of Claire as she travels back to the time of the Jacobite Rebellion. We will travel to some of the filming locations and visit castles and palaces and discover their own interesting stories.

  • Stirling Castle, Hairy Coo’s and The Trossachs: On this tour we will visit Stirling Castle and discover it’s significance in the battles for Scottish Independence introducing famous Scottish heroes such as William Wallace and Robert the Bruce. From Stirling and our stories of bloodshed and betrayal we will head into the tranquility of the Trossachs national park to visit 3 of Scotland’s most famous highland cattle before taking our scenic journey through the Trossachs to reach the beautiful village of Luss on the banks of Loch Lomond.

  • Golf,Whisky & Palaces (A Very Scottish Tour) On this tour we will visit St Andrews, the famous home of Scotland’s oldest golf course with time to explore both the Auld Course and the ancient town before heading out to Kingsbarns Distillery to see how Scotland’s most famous export is produced. Our final destination for the day will be the stunning village of Falkland to explore the palace and this antiquated village used as a filming location for the hit TV
